5 EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE STARS!!!! Wow, so I absolutely loved Wreck Me. The prologue hooked me, and I just could not put it down after that. But, why do I keep breaking my rule of not starting a series when the remaining books aren’t out?! Once again, I am starting a tortuous wait to see what happens after one hell of a cliffhanger.
Jo has experienced a lot of loss in her life. At a very young age, her parents are taken from her in a tragic car accident. Life becomes so tough for her at this point. Hating the in and out of orphanages and foster homes, she decided she would try her luck on the streets. Not wanting to experience any more loss, she makes a point of not letting anyone into her life. She does not do relationships on any level and therefore, is alone. The only thing that she has in her life that she truly loves is her job at a book store.
But, then, she meets a very charming Damon Cole on the anniversary of her parents’ death. Wanting to escape from the overwhelming emotions that come with this day, she pursues him for a one night stand. However, there is an instant attraction and familiarity that is felt by both parties. Furthermore, the sexual chemistry is off the charts. Going against every rule they each have about relationships, they decide to see where this goes. Their feelings grow so fast. But, Damon holds a secret that could change everything.
Jo is a very independent woman that doesn’t take any shit from anyone. She is quick witted and not afraid to speak her mind. Damon is a wealthy entrepreneur that is used to getting his way. He is the epitome of masculine and domineering yet he is also extremely sweet and caring. I fell for him as fast as Jo. His love for her couldn’t have been clearer and my heart broke into pieces as his secret is revealed.
I felt sure that I knew Damon’s secret early on but I was very anxious as to how it would all play out. And when it all played out, I was left screaming NO. NO. NOOOOOO! And then it ended!!! What? No, it can’t end there!!! UGH, so now I have to wait for Restore Me which luckily should be released March 27th (fingers crossed). I need more Damon and more importantly, I need a happy ending.
I loved everything about Wreck Me. It was hot and steamy but so emotional as well. Overall, it was absolutely fantastic. I 100% recommend this amazingly addictive story!
